This newly-renovated character cottage in the historic quarter of Bressuire combines
the benefits of a quiet location with the convenience of a thriving market town.
‘La Paillerie’ is virtually on the doorstep of the château. Close by is the Coulée
Verte, an unspoiled area of natural beauty with several kilometres of footpaths &
cycling tracks which wind their way through woods, along riverbanks and around lakes.
In the opposite direction, just a few minutes walk away, is the town centre. Bressuire
offers a wide choice of shops and restaurants as well as a twice-weekly market and
is also within easy reach of numerous tourist attractions
Known as La Coeur du Bocage, Bressuire lies in the Deux-Sèvres in the North of Poitou-Charentes.
Fondly referred to as one of France’s best-kept secrets, this largely undiscovered
region has a rich agricultural landscape of fertile fields, lakes and woods and an
